Delete your Checkt account
You can delete your account and everything stored on our servers at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Checkt and go to Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Deletion is immediate.
Without the app
Email checkt@scinops.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my Checkt account”. We verify that the request comes from the account owner and complete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account and email address
- All backed-up rentals, photos, notes, marks, readings and fingerprints in your cloud vault
- All share links (they stop working immediately)
- Your entitlement records and agreement-scan counts
What is not deleted
- Rentals stored on your phone stay there until you delete them in the app (Settings → Delete all data) or uninstall it.
- Purchase records kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat for tax and accounting. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
- Anonymous usage statistics, which are never linked to your account.
- Crash reports, which expire after up to 90 days.
